Air resistance decreases as an object moves slower

In Example 1 below, you can see that when the ball was moving slower, the air resistance acting on it was less than when it was moving faster.

In Example 2 below, you can see that the air resistance acting on the car was less when the car was moving slower.

Both of these examples demonstrate that air resistance is less when objects are moving slower.
