I can identify closely grouped data

To identify closely grouped data, you need to look at the range of the data. The range of data is the difference between the maximum and minimum value.

If the difference between the maximum and minimum value is small then the data is said to be grouped. If the difference is large, the data is said to be scattered.

The smaller the difference, the more grouped the data is.
