When you make the pinhole bigger, you make the image brighter and blurrier

The diagram above shows how a large/wide pin-hole lets multiple light rays from the top and bottom of the object reach the screen.

This makes the image brighter, but it will be more blurry.

Below, you can see what happens when the pin-hole is smaller/narrower, the image is dimmer but more sharp:
