Primary colours of light

The primary colours of light are:

  • Red light
  • Green light
  • Blue light

The three primary colours of light can be combined to make any other colour of light.

This diagram shows how the secondary colours of light, magenta, cyan and yellow can be produced by adding combinations of the primaries together.
