To calculate a time from a speed and a distance, you must use a rearrangement of the s=d/t equation.

You must complete the following steps:

You will have been given a speed and a distance. Write these down from the question onto your paper and make sure they are clearly identified
Write out the s=d/t equation down in either the word or symbol form
Rearrange the equation into the correct form (t=d/s)
Substitute in the distance and the speed and write these down in full
Complete the calculation and write down your answer
